The heart behind Groovy Jesus

About Groovy Jesus

Groovy Jesus began with my love for retro 60s, 70s, and 80s style, using that warm, nostalgic feel to gently introduce people to Jesus in a peaceful, positive way. What began as simple posts turned into moments of worship, a church community, and eventually me leading Tuesday night Lo-Fi prayer.


From there, I started recording my own acoustic chord progressions and shaping them into calm, chill lo-fi prayer music, the sound now known as Lo-Fi JesusWave. My hope is that whenever you’re here, you experience the peace of Jesus.
